. Every second apple harvested in Italy comes from South Tyrol – ca. 950,000 tons of apples are picked here every year. That corresponds to
50% of the Italian and 10% of the European apple yield

South Tyrolean apple harvest
is exported to Europe and the Arabian countries. Germany has the biggest appetite for South Tyrolean apples with 30% of the total exports.
