These canal trails are ideal for families, the leisure oriented, and all those who want to experience South Tyrol’s relaxing side. The apple orchard circuit in Parcines/Partschins and the apple orchard trail in Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs in Valle Isarco/Eisacktal are two genuine highlights for all apple fans. In southern South Tyrol, stimulating apple trails, like the Termeno Nature Discovery Trail (Naturerlebnisweg Tramin) in Überetsch/Unterland and the Panorama tour in Ora/Auer, provide visitors with beautiful panoramic views over the bountiful orchards.
The Apple Trail in Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs
The apple trail in Naz-Sciaves in the Eisacktal valley is an exciting tour of discovery for big and small. The apple-themed circuit extends 7.9 km above Naz (889 m) to Rasa/Raas (820 m) and back to the starting point. It provides insights into the unique natural beauty of apple orchards in the Eisacktal valley. Waalweg canal trails
Waalweg canal trails in Merano/Meran and Environs and in Val Venosta/Vinschgau are a great way to experience the apple region of South Tyrol. The trails along the historic canals are especially family-friendly and provide panoramic views out across the valleys. In springtime, they extend through lush meadows and blossoming orchards and in autumn. In contrast, the vineyards are golden and the deciduous forests take on rich new hues in autumn.

Particularly fantastic orchard scenery can be enjoyed in Bolzano/Bozen and Environs. Stroll through exciting villages and enjoy casual hikes amidst stunning scenery. In the valley, there are countless flat walking paths through Bolzano and Environs past lakes, vineyards and apple orchards.
