Photo of the apple variety Jazz

Jazz™

The Jazz™ variety marries the royal sweetness of the "Gala" with the fresh vigour of the “Braeburn." The roots of this interesting hybrid lie in New Zealand. The medium-sized apple is popular because of its uniform bright red colour. The taste can be mainly described as dense and sweet. English sources refer to a “pear drop” note and thus to pear and banana flavours.

Evi Florian, apple farmer from Kaltern/Caldaro, about the Jazz™
Jazz™ is one of the highest quality gourmet apples in terms of taste. Its cultivation is very demanding and therefore requires a great deal of expert knowledge. The limited availability and attractive colour, however, increase the exclusivity of this apple all the more.
