Beef burgers with apple relish

Ingredients
2 apples Südtiroler Apfel PGI (Granny Smith) 
0,5 tsp ginger 
3 tbsps. cane sugar 
2,5 tbsps. apple vinegar  
1 sticks cinnamon
1 pinches paprika flakes
Approx. 150 ml water 
1/3 tsps. salt
1 pinches pepper  

For the burgers:
280 g minced beef
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
2 brioche buns (hamburger rolls)
1 handful of lettuce leaves of your choice
1 red onions 
4 apples Südtiroler Apfel PGI (Granny Smith)  
1 tsp ginger 
6 tbsps. cane sugar 
5 tbsps. apple vinegar  
2 sticks cinnamon
2 pinches paprika flakes
Approx. 300 ml water 
2/3 tsps. salt
2 pinches pepper  

For the burgers:
560 g minced beef
2 pinches salt
2 pinches pepper
4 brioche buns (hamburger rolls)
1 handful of lettuce leaves of your choice
2 red onions

Beef burgers with apple relish
Preparation

1. Peel the apples and slice finely. Sauté at medium heat in a frying pan and then add the ginger, cane sugar, apple vinegar and cinnamon sticks. 
2. Simmer the apple mixture for 10 minutes until the liquid has absorbed.  
3. Season with the paprika flakes, Add water to desired thickness, simmer for 8 to 10 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Your relish is now ready. 
4. Shape the minced beef into 4 patties, Fry in a preheated, non-stick frying pan for 3 minutes on each side, and then season one side with salt and pepper. 
5. Slice the brioche buns and toast briefly in the frying pan.  
6. Top the brioche buns with lettuce, onion, beef patty and apple relish.
